Hi Everyone, I have a QE55 Q60 tv along with a Samsung HW-450 sound bar which is currently being connected via an optical cable.
When I turn the TV on the sound comes on with the TV and connects to the soundbar just fine. If I put the TV in standby for a few minutes then put it back on, the TV will come on but has automatically switched back to the TV speakers, I then have an echo of both the sound bar & TV playing sound .
I have to turn the soundbar off and back on again, then the sound comes through the soundbar and not the tv.
This only happens when the soundbar has not timed out, ie when the 'auto off' (20 min timer) on the soundbar has not operated. If the soundbar 'auto off ' has timed out then when the tv is turned on the sound comes through the soundbar and not the tv .
This is extremely annoying.
Has anyone had this issue or found a fix for it ?
Any help appreciated.
