TV Plus channels disappearing from favorite channels list

TV models UE55TU7190UXZG (2020) and UE43TU7170UXZT (2020)
Latest firmware 2400.9

In my favorite channels list I save both antenna channels and Samsung TV Plus channels, with my custom order.

For some months now, almost once a week, the TV Plus channels completely disappear from the list. The default channel list is also reset to antenna channels.

So every time I have to set my favorites list again as my default channel list and then manually add all TV Plus channels again.

I've been having this problem for a few months. Another person I know has the exact same problem and just gave up.

I contacted Samsung assistance and they said "it's normal" and caused by "possible network disconnections".

My take: this is obviously a bug and should be fixed by Samsung.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi, I do have the same problems since one month ago. Any suggestion? It started happening out of the blue. Thank you!

I am having the same problem and fed up with having to recreate my favorites list. I really like TV plus but this is unacceptable.

Me too. It keeps forgetting the channels I have added to "Favorites 1."* Now when I click the up-and-down arrow Guide button my favorite channels no longer appear, although this used to be the default.

I have two new Samsung 75" TV's and this issue is happening on both. SamsungPlus channels added to the favorites all randomy disappear. This after the SamsungPlus app disappeared for 36 hours last month, then just reappeared. Zero explanation from Samsung.

I regret buying Samsung TV's. The interface is cumbersome and their lack of support id infuriating. $2500 spent poorly.

Hi, I'd like to update a little bit my issues. Now, I have NO Samsung Channels at all!!!
The Samsung app disappeared from the menu and, of course, all the channels too!
I complained about that, and the answer was: "You must wait until a new SW update is released, and for sure, the issue will sort out!".
Well, it wasn't.
I found a new SW update for my TV this weekend, so I installed it, and you know what?: Nothing changed.
I still do not have the Samsung App or the Samsung TV Channels!!!! No comments!

Samsung doesn't give a ***** about its customers. They have your money so screw you! This is typical of Korean companies. 

I set up my new QN8065 this morning, added favorites and then unplugged the TV to reorganize the cables. Guess what! My favorites disappeared.

Cable management is a disaster. The rear cover of the stand broke. The top lugs failed. I fixed the problem with packing tape. It's an ugly repair but nobody can see it from the front.

Same Problem ... many others have it too it seems.  No reply from Samsung is very telling 😞
