there is no playstore on my smart TV, I tried to find it from 'Apps' and 'Search" but there is no playstore for me to download. My software is uptodate

thank you for the reply!, i don't see Samsung Apps (or Galaxy Store) just the TV's built-in app store or is it the same thing? And if there are no apps that i want in those store are there any other methods that i can download apps from other stores? Thank you for your time and help.

Hi @Mil12  Welcome to the Samsung community Yes it is the inbuilt App store, can see the type of Apps available here  https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/smart-tv/smart-hub-and-apps/

Would not recomend installing from  unknown sources, can use an external Device such as Google TV.

There is no search button to search for a specific app. Only "recommended apps" show up. Who has the time to scroll through thousands of "unalphabetized" apps just to find a specific one that I'm looking for? This new update is ridiculous! Samsung should have left well-enough alone. There was nothing wrong with the old way. Trust me when I say that thousands of people are complaining (on other threads) about Samsung TV's new update. I'll probably have to switch TV brands if I cannot access the apps that I WANT to download, or else what is the point of having a TV?
