I recently bought an S95D tv, and am happy so far with it. It replaced an old Sony "full hd" tv about 17 years old !
I have also now bought a Q800D soundbar. I have just set it up and what a difference to the sound.
My reason for this post is the niggling little design problems with these 2 items.
When setting up the tv I had occasion to call Samsung Support about a simple matter typing in the router id. the support person wanted the serial number for the tv. When I looked at the label on the back of the tv for it I found the numbers so small they could not be made out ! Why are they so small ???
Luckily I had a magnifying glass and used it successfully .
Also I looked for the microphone switch and although I knew roughly where it is I couldn't make out how to use it as it also is ridiculously small and very badly situated ! I found out how to use it by watching a non-Samsung video on You Tube.
Now to the soundbar. I didn't have a suitable HDMI lead for this and the one that comes with soundbar is too short. So I ordered one from another company. The cable used on HDMI 2.1 leads is quite thick and braided, so is not very bendable. Despite this Samsung places the HDMI ports on the soundbar in a small opening and at right angles to the opening. Thus you have to bend the cable sharply the plug it in !
Yes as I said at the beginning of this rant that these are minor design nuisance's but they shouldn't be there and they annoy me that they are. They also detract from otherwise good products.

Thanks for your reply and the tip. Considering the trouble I had reading the tv label I should have learnt my lesson and photographed the label on the soundbar before putting it in place ! Now I will have to mess around turning it around so I can get the info for registration. As regards the HDMI lead, in hindsight if I had seen the problem with the soundbar ports I would have considered buying the HMDI lead that has a right angle plug on it.
