Hi all
I have replaced a my 6 year old 32inch Samsung TVs recently due to a fault. Is it just me or are the speakers/sound on new TVs just not as good anymore?
The speaker wattage on the new TV is the same, and has dolby digital technology but the speakers just sound a bit tinny.
I've also noticed this on a friends TV who recently got a new LG TV.
I have another 4 year old Samsung and a 5yr old Sony and the sound on both is much more fuller. It's as if you are being forced to get soundbars!

Thing is, the older TVs are just as slim as the new!

Yes but Tv's are slimmer than they used to be and so challenging to create the best quality onboard, nowadays customers are encouraged to purchase Sound Bars. I watch a fair bit of Tv myself but do not have one of the latest models. Some information here https://www.whathifi.com/advice/how-to-improve-your-tvs-sound
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
