My Samsung Frame TV is connected to both terrestrial antenna as well as a satellite connection to the internal turners.

To switch between terrestrial TV and satellite TV, on the remote control (BN59-01268H), I have to press the CH LIST button and then press the left key < , then up key twice, press enter key, then down key to select options of Terrestrial or Satellite, the enter key, then the return key. This process is 7 key selections.

Having Satellite/Terrestrial shortcuts on the remote would make things much easier because I know how to switch by the above mentioned CH LIST steps, but for other users it is very confusing because when if Satellite in selected and TV is switch off, then the next use wants to watch Terrestrial TV do not know the CH LIST steps and cannot watch the required TV channels.

Is it possible to create individual shortcuts on the remote for example red A button to Terrestrial and the green B button for Satellite?

Any option would be welcome.

For those that want to configure easy access to regular TV and assuming you guys have the new TV and remote:

1) Press and hold the channel (up down) button. A right hand panel will appear.

2) On the right side of this pop up panel, go ahead and select “Channel Type”

3) Now all you need to do to get to regular TV is press the channel button once and it will take you the the TV regular TV guide and channels

Hope this helps!

I have a newer The Frame and pushing that button does not work that way for me - it merely pops up a "Not Available" message. I find it absolutely annoying that it's not even intuitive to switch between FreeSat and FreeView - and, when I select Samsung TV Plus, it automatically defaults back to the terrestrial input EVERY TIME, leaving me fumbling around to try and get back to satellite.

"Newer", meaning not 2022? Maybe that button works this way on this year's model only?

Newer meaning a 2022 model.

Do you have the white remote?

If you go to TV guide, and click left until you get to the far left panel you can select the default TV type

My remotes are both black. Which remote are you referring to - the small or big one? I use the small one and when I scroll left, I get options for input, but  the TV one doesn't enable me to switch between the terrestrial and satellite - it just allows me to switch between TV and other inputs.

I have a white small one. When I press the channel button (not upwards or downwards but into the remote) it should take you to the TV guide. And from there if you scroll to the far left you can change between regular TV or Samsung Plus as a default.

Otherwise best to give support a call

You're talking about something different. Mine works exactly like that as well - the issue is that the option there does not allow you to switch between the two different TV inputs - terrestrial (aerial) and satellite (dish). The Samsung TV Plus is a third thing.
