Lights went out because of thunderstorm and once tv came on none of the apps connected. TV message said I needed a certificate for each app. Did a factory reset and now I’m getting a message that’s says the server is under maintenance please try again later 888-1. I have connected to my hotspot and same issue. I have unplugged and replugged same issue. How can I resolve this?
UPDATE FROM SAMSUNG 8:05pm est: “We are currently experiencing system updates and are working to resolve them as soon as possible. We advise you to patiently wait and we will take care of everything for you.”
Solved! Go to Solution.

Having the same issue, spent about 2 hours trying different things to get it resolved. Seeing your note makes me wonder, haha. Down Detector shows lots of people having issues:
https://downdetector.com/status/samsung-shop/
But their own status site shows everything is fine:

I'll try again tomorrow...

I'am from Brazil and same thing is going on here. No app works and after turning the energy off and on again, now even the app shortcuts are gone.

Something is going on with Samsung Servers. Thousands of people with the same issues. Traffic for most apps routes through Samsung Smart Hub and their servers. Something their is broken on Samsung's end. This is why Netflix works because the app routes through their servers.

I am in San Francisco, having the exact same issue.
My TV is a model QN50
The software is 2220
I had just finished watching a few hours of the Tour de France replay on the Peacock app -- so, everything was fine. Suddenly things stopped working. I went to re-open the Peacock app and I got the "ISP blocking service error code 202" message. That seemed like it was trying to blame my internet service provider, which felt off.
I tried these things:
- I did a hard restart on the TV (unplug for at least a minute, then plug back in)
- I did a "Device Care" test and it didn't show any issues
- I did a "Self Diagnosis" and a Smart Hub reset
- I connected via mobile hotspot instead of my ISP (mine's Sonic Fiberoptic here in SF) to rule out an actual ISP issue
Either way, whether connected via Sonic or my mobile hotspot, when I try to go through the TV setup steps, it confirms it's connected to the internet\, but then stalls at the "Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy" screen and says "the server is under maintenance. Please try again later. (0-1)" -- see screenshot.
Perhaps given we are all experiencing this, it truly is something on Samsung's end and not randomly all of our TVs no longer working? All I can guess is that something is happening on Samsung server end that is making it seem like all of our TVs can't connect to our respective networks.

There is a related thread here; some of us have not experienced any severe weather or power issues (I'm in SF, for example), but we are having issues nonetheless:

This is exactly where I am now stuck after trying a reset. So frustrating.
