Samsung tv needed proof of purchase

Hi,

Could you please help . I have samsung tv originally gifted to my wife from her dad who is passed away last year. I have insurance and couldnt provide them proof of purchase . 

Really don't know how to get it fixed as it got lines on display.

Typically Samsung like many other companies need proof of purchase to fulfill warranty

I undertand your dilemma but it quite normal in my experience. I take picture of all receipts to ensure my warranty is covered
