I have a series 8 Samsung Smart TV and a Sony HT-SF200 Soundbar. They’re connected by HDMI Arc and I have set up my smart remote to recognise the soundbar. When I turn my TV off using the remote the soundbar also turns off, but when I turn it on, the soundbar stays off.
Having to press the on button on the soundbar isn’t exactly a chore. But I just want it to work! Is this just a Samsung and Sony don’t quite get on thing or is there something else I can try?
