Hi, I'm looking for help regarding the issue below, as well as if anyone has experienced this and if so what was the resolution from Samsung. Also if you agree that this is a TV fault or that it is a normal function of the TV. Thanks in advance for any comments.
As well as having other devices connected to the TV (Sky TV box and game consoles) I also connect the TV to my PC via a HDMI to HDMI cable. However, there is a fault with the TV when it is in standby/turned off from the remote. It intermittently causes the PC to freeze for a few seconds and the other displays connected to my PC (another Samsung TV and PC Monitor) to go blank briefly.
The reason why this happens is due to the Samsung TV disconnecting and reconnecting the signal from my PC, as a result of this disconnection it causes Microsoft Windows to recheck the displays connected to the PC, hence the PC freezing/pausing and the other displays going blank for a few seconds. This is the same as if I were to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in.
This occurs intermittently at random intervals from within a few minutes to 30 minutes or more and repeatedly occurs whenever the Samsung TV is on standby. And has always been happening since I purchased the TV.
This also occurs on my other PC and laptop when connected to the TV but does not occur when my PCs/laptop are not connected to the TV. I've also tried different cables (HDMI to HDMI, Display Port to HDMI, Certified HDMI 2.1, Fiber Optic HDMI) as well but the fault still happens, the cables are not the issue and neither are my PCs or laptop.
The TV recognises when a PC is connected like it does when a specific game console is connected or other devices and labels the connection automatically to the appropriate device. So it is aware that a PC is connected as it clearly shows this on the screen.
I've have had my PC connected to two other Samsung TVs and they never had this issue. So why does it disconnect/reconnect while in standby when it knows a PC is connected as most people would have a monitor (definitely if you are using a laptop) also connected to the PC as well and would be still using it when the TV is in standby.
To me, this is clearly a fault and is:
1. NOT of satisfactory quality - as it is not working normally as any other TV does and should be reasonably expected.
2. NOT as described - as it is more than reasonable to expect the TV not to interfere with the function of a connected PC while it is either on or in standby. There is no information in the product material at all (description/specifications) declaring/warning customers that the TV will interfere with the usage of a PC when in standby.
3. NOT fit for purpose - as it causes constant interruptions while using a PC.
4. Did NOT last a reasonable length of time - as this has been an issue since I purchased the TV and it is still within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
The only way I can stop this from happening is to unplug the HDMI cable from either the PC or TV (extremely frustrating and should not be necessary), keep the TV on (why should I when I am not using it, that's what a standby mode is for), turn the power off to the TV from the main electrical socket (again should not be necessary).
I would please like comments from Samsung as well as the community about this, and would like to ask Samsung where in any product description, specification, manual does it state this is a normal function (and if it is to confirm that everyone who purchases this TV will have the same issue)?
Thank you.

Hi and welcome, probably not the response you want, but as a fellow user, I did find too many inputs can be and issue, IF they are all powered on, a Firestick or Apple TV were a pain for me, so I removed them.
At the end of the day they are all fighting for a just to connect.
I still suffer for the Sky Q issue whereby momentarily a black screen, as it looses or changes the resolution.

Thank you @Obsydian for your response, much appreciated.
Surely as the TV has 4 HDMI ports it is capable of supporting 4 inputs at the same time, otherwise why have 4 ports when they can't all be used? Isn't that the purpose of having multiple ports so that more devices can be connected.
However, I have tried using just the one HDMI port (so the other three are not connected to anything) and that made no difference.

Probably best to contact Samsung Support, but also have you tried the Device Care tool, it is actually a good diagnostic tool and usually tech support, if they try remote support will ask you to try it.

@Obsydian - I've contacted Samsung support and gone through the diagnostic tool and allowed remote access but it didn't find any issues. But as it is only checking when the TV is on instead of when the TV is in standby where the issue occurs, it doesn't pick up the connection issue.

Try turning off Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) on the TV.
Also turn off Game Mode by setting it to off.

And I will aad some more information, when happen de disconnect/reconnect sound if you enter in the Event manager you can see the detailed part:
Basically, as DNefarious said, windows detects a monitor (In my case disabled because I have the option "only PC screen") so signal that it's not powered on is sent by S95C and this is the sound that we heard in windows,. It's very annoiying. With my previous LG Oled is not happening

It's not a problem directly with the TV, the problem is how display works with Windows, when you have it disabled in windows, and the TV is turnned off, it seems that is still sending signals to the computer trough the HDMI.. os something like that. And it's causing this connection/reconnection regularly.
