Samsung S95B auto dimming

Has anyone who owns the Samsung S95B noticed the screen dimming on its own, particularly when watching HDR? It's happening more often now where after around 5 mins the screen dims so much that it's practically unwatcheable. This isn't the adaptive brightness setting, this is something different I think is built into the TV to prevent burn in when it suspects objects aren't moving. Is there any way to turn this off? It's really spoiling an otherwise fantastic TV!

Solved my issue:

https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/ul2o2f/someone_discovered_how_to_disable_asbl_on_samsu...

With an older Samsung remote or a programmed universal remote press: Mute > 1 > 1 > 9 > OK at an even pace.

This should bring up the Hospitality Menu if you timed it right. Then press: 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 to get to the Service Menu.

Entering the Service Menu with this method does not reset your video

settings like some other methods.

Once in the Service Menu go to: Control > QD Option > Screen Saver Brightness

Press OK and then change the default of 7 to 0 with the Left Arrow.

Press Return twice to go back to the root of the Service Menu and then power cycle the TV.

Thanks for this. I did come across this when looking for a fix but I think it voids your warranty?

Samsung will find any excuses if something wrong happened to your TV  to avoid repairing or replacing TV during warranty. I guess accessing service menu and changing settings method would void your warranty. But thanks for sharing this info. Samsung should push official update to prevent the TV from auto dimming.

P. S, for those who can't access Samsung service menu using the method mentioned above, turn off your TV then press Info, setting (menu button) then power on.

Oh and if you hate the garbage user interface, if you never agree to any of the terms and conditions agreements that pop up, it keeps the hub etc cleaner and little less aggravating.  If you want the latest firmware, agree to the conditions and then do default on everything to reset.  Then don't agree to conditions after, firmware is current and you don't have most of the stupid parts of samsung TV UI.
