I have a Samsung series 7 tv that’s a few years old now. Recently I went to turn it on and the number 7 kept entering by itself. The remote won’t work to change the screen, and I even put in new batteries. I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back in. No luck. Anyone else have this issue?
I have the same issues. I did not switch the Tv for 3weeks cause I’ve been for holiday. Now when I switch on it appears 7 when i press the remote and even change the problem. I don’t know what’s the problem. Did anyone find the solution to fix this?
I had exactly the same problem. I tested with a different Samsung remote, and the TV was fine. I stripped down the remote, checked the rubber pads, etc, assembled it, and tested. Same issue. I bought another from ebay (£16) and sorted the problem.
Hi i got this problem recently so i disassembled the tv remote cleaned out the board and now it’s works perfectly. It was a bit dusty… hope it can help
