Random number on tv screen

Anyone have any ideas what this number means that has randomly appeared?…

Can i get your tv model number?

First, you can try to plug it from the wall, wait for 20 seconds and plug it back on (without turning it off with remote) check if that works first.

It's really rare but it happens, usually the plug off the wall without switching off tv with remote works if not try reset your tv if that won't work please don't hesitate and let me know.

Sometimes when someone is watching live TV like a football match on Sky Sports, a random number will appear in the corner. This is usually so that if you were illegally live streaming the match, they could track who the subscription belongs to.

What were you watching when this appeared and what channel?

It was channel 4 and all through sky box. I know what number you mean but this is in middle of the screen and flashes on and off
