I have purchased a Samsung Metal One remote that is normally supplied with the Q8 & Q9 2018 QLed TVs. I'm pleased to report that it can be paired and fully used on the Q7FN without any issues.
The left remote is the Q8/Q9 and the right is the Q7 One remote.
