Q49Q60R sound stuttering on HDMI input from PVR

Hi everyone 

I've just bought a Q49Q60R. I'm having occasional and very irritating sound issues with the sound input from my PVR - a Humax FVP4000-T.

At random and irregular intervals the sound will occasionally stutter.

It never happened with my old (now deceased) Samsung LE40A557, which suggests that the PVR is OK.

Setup reports the firmware is currently at 1335

Any ideas, anyone?

It seems like the software's up to date. Have you tried a different cable?

Not yet. It's the same cable I used before, into the old TV.

I'll have a furkle and see if it makes any odds.

Well, I swapped the lead out, with no real change in the symptoms.

The sound still stutters - As before, it doesn't stutter all the time; just occasionally and at random.

One thing I do note is that I need to have the "volume" of anything feeding the TV - PVR etc., - wound up quite high to be about the same level as the TV tuner sound level. Dunno if that's significant.
