need tv to samsung fridge

I'm really struggling  to get tv to mirror  on fridge home hub , tv is ue50tu8507uxxu and both on line and in store was told compatible. 

Can seem to get them to recognise each other

Wifi code is same for both ,fridge can go on Google

Smart view just whirls and then no devices .

Fridge shows on smart things 

Any help ?

I have exact same model fridge updated fully, I am not able to connect to my 800T 8K Samsung TV. It works fine with Note 20+ Ultra. Just not Samsung TB cannot mirror it.

This seems to be 2020 TVs not compatible. Can anyone provw this otherwise.

Are you able to locate both the TV and the Family Hub on the SmartThings app? If so, it should work and connect.

First up, check that your Hub is up to date:

1. Open the Family Hub settings

2. Choose About device

3. Choose UPDATE

Then check the Connection on your TV:

1. Open the settings on your TV

2. Go to General 

3. Choose External Device Manager

4. Choose Device Connection Manager

5. Turn Access Notification to Always on

6. Choose Device List

7. Make sure that your refrigerator is set to Allowed

I checked the fridge; FH was up to date. I changed Notifications to always on, on the tv but the fridge doesn't  show up under devices, only the phone (which indicates that it's allowed). The fridge always shows under SmartThings on the fridge, including listing the programme that's playing.

I don't know if the OP's issue has been resolved but the TV still doesn't show up under devices on the fridge, so I cannot cast a programme to it. In SmartThings, I can switch the TV on and off, and see what channel is playing. I installed SmartThings on the TV and it can see the fridge.

I have an older model tv model and it works with the Samsung hub RF32CG5900SR. My 2016 tv allows me to mirror on the refrigerator. However, my 2021 and 2022 models do not work. Below are the models that are compatible: 

2021: (A models)

• 4K QLEDs: Q70A, Q80A, and Q90A

• The Frame (LS03A) (43 inch and higher)

• The Terrace (LST9TA)

2020: (T models)

• All 8K QLEDs

• 4K QLEDs Q70T or above

2019: (R models)

• All 8K QLEDs

• 4K QLEDs Q60R series or above

• The Frame (LS03R)
