I have tried to manually put DNS to.1111/8888 and it helps nothing this has been tryed contacting my isp has been tried even got them to update the firmware on the router at no avail. I cannot update tv ad no updats are available. Ive reset tv nothing and tbe updates seem to stay installed too. Jelp please.im allmost to the point of getting a LG as it works fine on them.
I also will add I used a samsung casting app and you can see the connected disconnect on the little tv screen on it. It happens a lot.
HI @Krayzierone The latest firmware which can be checked on the Samsung support site and if a new one available can be downloaded to USB and updated that way. Can be on the support before over the air. You have not named the model but it can be found via a search. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/
For wifi issues Ideas include the following:
switching off Tv for a minute, a soft Reset (pressing and holding power button on Smart Remote for around 5 seconds until Tv restarts ) and rebooting router(unplug from mains) There are also other DNS options you can try . Go to General-Network-Network Settings-DNS Settings. Change from Automatic to to 18.104.22.168 or 22.214.171.124. (Google servers) or 126.96.36.199 or 188.8.131.52 (Open DNS) for instance.
