I have just bought the 50" version of the same TV.

I tried updating the software on the TV via the internet connection and from the support website.

I downloaded the file to a USB for install but the TV reports it is up to date, no change.
No help, sorry, but at least you know you are not alone.

Some small piece of hope from the blurb on Richer Sounds website....  it's in the last sentence in the  copied paragraph.

Hi,
I'm new to Samsung and need a bit of advice on what to do to get the iPlayer app on this 'Smart' TV.

All the other usual suspects are there, ITV, Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV.
My current software version is 1082.
Any help is much appreciated.

P.S. it is very cool to watch porn on samsung
you can try it right now
here is a great resource for you where you will find great porn

Hi guys,

I've merged these two threads as they're about the same topic.

Official statement regarding the iPlayer:

"Samsung is committed to bringing you the very best Smart TV experience.

We are working with The BBC to ensure The BBC iPlayer Application delivers the best possible user experience on your new 2020 Samsung Smart TV.

The application will be released at the very earliest opportunity, please accept our apologies for the delay."

Still no app , but have found a workaround.

GO ONTO  BBC1  AND WAIT FOR A BANNER (ASKS TO PRESS GREEN BUTTON TO WATCH FROM START, BUT DONT PRESS IT) TO APPEAR AND THEN DISAPPEAR IN THE TOP RIGHT OF SCREEN THEN PRESS RED BUTTON ON REMOTE , THEN SCROLL UP AND ENTER IPLAYER (YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG IN TO YOUR IPLAYER ACCOUNT).

So, although I didn't get the iPlayer green button prompt initially, this happened today.

Playing around with the TV this morning and ended up doing a clean scan of terrestrial Channels (Just like you'd do when setting up for the first time).

Once complete, I was on BBC1 HD and to my surprise the iPlayer"press green to watch from start" prompt appeared.

Logged in and away I go....

Thank You. 👍
