Monitor not switching between displayport and hdmi

Ive had an issue where when im trying to play on my ps5 which uses an hdmi cable from my pc which uses displayport my monitor doesnt switch to hdmi even when trying to select it on the menu button, it shows up but when I try to select it nothing happens it just stays on displayport. does anyone know how to fix it?

I have the same issue, it switches but after 3-5 attempts and I will check this feature in my next displays that woun't be a Samsung I think...
