I have just bought Samsung UE43TU8500 43 inch but cannot access Teletext .

I have bought this Tv today and have tried to access teletext, it just says not available. I have tried settings to turn on but anything teletext related is greyed out. All my other TVs have been Samsung and they all have teletext. Please tell me how to enable so I don’t have to return to shop

Thank you for your reply, however this does not help as whatever I try to do the teletext says unavailable. I know it’s not the geological location.

if your trying to access the old analogue teletext it no longer exists. it stopped in 2012, the red button teletext also stopped earlier this year.

teletext?! that's not been around for a very long time. Internet is the way now, most tvs have web access now
