I have a UN55NU6900 that just updated to software 1340.4. It's really messing with my TV. I have a newer Samsung that has this setup native and I don't like it at all, but it's not used much so I didn't care.
Now my main TV has been updated without asking and it's completely screwed up the 'Info', previous channel, and more.
If I can't get it to revert to the previous system, I'm going to junk it and I will never, ever, ever buy a Samsung again (And I currently own 4!).

Never buying another product from Samsung ever again. I hated the system on my newest UN43, but I don't use it much. Now they've installed that firmware on my older 55. I can't stand it. Going out to Costco for a Sony.

If I turn my auto update on, how do I know that the update won't be even worse? Please revert! You've removed the features I use most and added SPAM that is annoying and in the way! I now hate my Samsung.

I don't even want to turn it on. I guess that's a good thing. Thanks!

@99Super The software cannot be reverted, sometimes if there are major issues Moderators provide interim software. However with that model number I assume you are resident in the U.S. and whilst everyone is welcome here specialised support would only be for the UK/Ireland.
I know from the European changelog for the particular software that the main changes were:
However may not be directly comparable.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I appreciate your response and I understand that I somehow ended up on the European messaging board, but it's the only place I've been able to get any response. The issues noted on the change log do not reflect what's going on with my TV. In fact I'm sure Samsung will call it a feature, not a bug.
