I recently updated my s90c tv to update 2020.
It’s absolutely terrible and the update took many steps backwards. It now takes 4 clicks to open the quick settings instead of 1. I use those frequently and now its annoying. Theres zero other noticeable changes, only this downside.
Whoever designed this update clearly doesn’t use these tvs, otherwise they wouldn’t have pushed this terrible update out. I just want to go back to the previous update model.
I didnt realize updating my tv would result in a worse experience.

it is not possible to downgrade Tv firmware by official means. on ocassions interim software has been provided by Moderators when there are major issues, would not be applicable in this situation though. Hopefully a future update will address the inconvenience.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@Mikebobich The same thing happened to me. Can you download applications after the update? I have found no way to search for new apps, it's frustrating.

My whole TV experience (S90C) has changed since 2020. It’s the worst update I’ve ever seen.

Worst of all, the up(sic)grade removed legacy HDMI ARC functionality. Now only e-ARC available! Another 2000$ home theater receiver [NAD T777] made obsolete. Only workaround is to use optical connection or add a bluetooth receiver, but now so-called universal remote won't control volume on the T777. No more Anynet control either. No way to use HDMI to get sound out to sound system. Only cheap "soundbars". I knew I shouldn't have allowed it to upchuck.
