Hi
I saw the news a few days ago that Samsung was finally joining the likes of LG and giving their 2025 TVs full G-sync. In all the write-ups, it just says 2025 OLED TVs, but in one, it lists 2024 OLEDs and says they are getting the same update, but later this year.
Does anyone know if this is true? Right now, the S95D handles VRR really badly. The flicker (yes, all OLEDs have it, but some are worse than others) is terrible, and this update could fix it or reduce it a lot.
Thanks

official information only mentions the 2025 models, whilst possible it could roll out to 2024 models at a later date no not have anything definitive on that. https://news.samsung.com/uk/samsung-elevates-oled-tv-gaming-experience-with-nvidia-g-sync-compatibil...

Yeah, I just wondered if anyone has heard if its true or not. This page seems to think so. https://www.techspot.com/news/107979-samsung-2025-oled-tv-lineup-support-nvidia-g.html

The only page that says 2024 TVs will get it is this one. https://www.techspot.com/news/107979-samsung-2025-oled-tv-lineup-support-nvidia-g.html
If it comes, I will be happy and keep the TV. If not, I have to go back to LG because this TV is terrible for high-end PC use (movies and TV are great), and it's all down to not having the full G-Sync.
