Hi

Self Diagnosis:

Some Samsung TVs have a built-in self-diagnosis feature (under Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis). This may include a picture test that can help pinpoint the problem.

4. Contact Support:

If the lines persist after trying these steps, it's best to contact Samsung support or a qualified TV repair technician. They can properly diagnose the issue and recommend a solution.

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that I cannot see settings on the screen. The entire menu is no longer visible. Most of the screen is covered in lines. Only the sound still works.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

You'd most likely need to contact customer support for this

No. just hold the power button on the remote down for several seconds and TV will reboot.  If that does not work, then unplug it for 30 seconds

Thank you! I tried that, but no luck. Trying to do a hard reset, but with all the lines on the screen I can hardly read the menu.

I did the reset. Lines were still there, but I just left the tv playing. After about five hours, everything was back to normal. It’s almost as if our tv has some sort of bug and whenever we haven’t used it for a few days, then the lines appear. As if it has to slowly adjust again. Anyway, it works now!
