Getting old games consoles (eg Wii, PS2) to play in colour

Hi

I have a UE43NU7400 TV and after a few problems I managed to get most of it working apart from my old games consoles. I have a Nintendo Wii (first model from 2006-11: RVL-001) and a Sony PS2 and both play fine (ie image and sound) apart from the fact they are display in black and white with a slightly degraded image. The only online fix I could find was to "change input from component to AV" but I can't find such a setting anywhere within the menu. Both devices connected to old TV via old-skool RCA (ie three leads) and this TV also has a RCA connect (3 into 1) on the side which I am using.

Do I need to buy a RCA to HDMI adapter to make this work (and if so which one is best?)?

If so what is the RCA connect for then?!

Or can you tell me what I need to change in the settings?

Thanking you in advance

Nigrit
