I know that the 75T is only sold by Curry's. I would like to know what the difference is between the two models. There surely must be otherwise why go to all the bother of making a separate model. Does anyone know ?
TIA

Hi @countryman As far as i can ascertain there are only small differences between the models. The Q75T is a variant exclusive to Currys/pc World. The Q75T has a slighter higher PQI 3500 compared to 3400 but that would likely be barely discernable to many viewers. Minor design variance as Q75T stand is finished in silver, the larger 85 inch screen only available with Q70T. The Q80T mind you is higher quality featuring Full-Array Local Dimming, however more expensive.

Many thanks, James. Your comment re the difference between 3400 and 3500 gives me confidence. The only nagging doubt is how have they achieved that? I wonder what corners they cut and whether or not that would manifest itself in other areas. Having said that I've just commissioned ours this afternoon and it all looks very good.

Actually I will qualify that. There is clearly a lot of video processing going on and to my trained eye (ex-BBC OB engineer) they ain't got it right. Most obvious when live TV cuts to a 'head on shoulders' shot and you can see the skin tones visibly modulate until they settle down by which time the director has cut to another camera. Then back again and off we go again.

@countryman Thanks for your contribution and good points. Even if impressive overall may be that if video processing not totally ideal to trained eye.
