Cannot connect to internet from tv

Really struggling to complete connection to virgin media internet via wifi.

What I have completed so far:

Software update completed.

TV will connect to mobile hotspot and can use internet on tv from this.

TV will connect to virgin router but not from router to internet.

Tried manual DNS change to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but still will not connect via wifi.

Enabled tv mac address on virgin's web page.

Contacted virgin who connected me to third party technical help who tried to charge a £25 one off charge and £5 per month ongoing charge. Stating there is an issue with the tv, but i cannot see this as the issue appears to be the link between the router and internet.

Virgin offered no further technical help. 

Have turned tv and virgin off for 10 mins and still no connection.

When ethernet cable is attached from tv to router the internet does work!! So changed all settings on wifi to same settings as when ethernet plugged in.

Is this an issue with the tv, router or virgin service??? Have you any solutions???

Hi @Nickynocka, do you still need help with this?

If so, can I take the TV model number, and the current software it's on? You can find the information in Menu > Support > Contact Samsung.

Can you also disconnect all devices from the Wi-Fi router, re-boot the router? Then, re-connect them one by one, making sure the TV is the first device you connect.
