Hello folks,
As some of you have noticed in your respective TVs, if you have Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) enabled (e.g. soundbar) you can't switch to a Bluetooth device (e.g. headphones) because it immediately switches back to the hdmi arc input. The only workaround is to disable/enable Anynet every time you want to use a BT device.
At least, that is what is happening on my Q70R and I am aware that others have complained as well.
This is very annoying and I would like to report this bug to Samsung for a possible fix. Does anyone know how to properly reach them? Confirmation of this bug on this post in other TV models is also helpful to make Samsung aware of it.
Many thanks!

Hi, it’s now May 2023 and just ran into the same issue when connecting my new gaming bluetooth headphones to the TV. Sound comes through for 2 seconds and then it automatically switches back to the Sonos Arc sound bar.
I just found this thread and cannot believe this is still an issue, especially considering how old this thread is. What a disgraceful customer service. I am planning to swap my TV and the new replacement will certainly not be from Samsung!

It’s already January 2024 and issue still persists. The workaround is to disable Anynet+ from the device manager. It’s not fun to do it regularly but at least it’s working. Sounds like when anynet is enabled it gets the priority of the sound output. I hope Samsung will fix that issue soon.

I gave up hope they will ever fix it. And I know it sounds like a stupid threat but I will not buy another Samsung TV. I bought mine in July 2019 and I wished I would have gone for a bigger one. It's 65 inches and in my living room I could go for around 75 inches. I'll give it 5 years, so this means that after summer I will go for another one, bigger and certainly not from Samsung.
Now consider this: immediately after I bought it I had problems with it. Twice! So bad that the second time they sent someone to replace the motherboard of the TV. Now, I wonder, why did the guy had a MB with him (replaced in maybe 15 min) when he didn't identified the problem beforehand? Was it maybe that Samsung knew they had problems with the TV? Could this be related to the Bluetooth audio issue? I actually wonder if maybe they do not want to do any updates on the TV firmware/OS because they know their motherboards are "having issues" (my first choice of words was redacted automatically :D) and that it may make the TV completely unusable?
Goodbye Samsung...

I can't believe this bug..
Anyways I had a workaround by plugging the soundbar to a powerstrip that comes with an on off button. Turn off soundbar every time I use BT..

Works fine with mine (Q80T 65"), as of today with my brand new Airpods Max. Only slight nuisance is that it doesn't revert back to the JBL soundbar, but I got a workaround, turn the soundbar off/on it goes back to it, it sure beats fiddling the menus to configure the sound output. And it's lovely to connect to the Airpods Max, every time I get them out of the case it connects to the TV. So, all in all, I'm happy.

I have the same problem, 55QN95B tv, and a HW-Q930C soundbar, i try to use a bower&wilkings PX8 headphone,
1.the tv find the Headphone
sorry for the crappy englisch
2.he puts it in bluetooth devises found and connect it
3. i then select it as preferred soudoutput device (deselect the soundbar)
4. ........nothing, aaargh 2 hours later, pull out the power(tv) and power back on, and, yes its working, next day...nothing etc...
Now the HW-Q930C is useless, pulled the plug and all works without the HW-Q930C.
2000euro for a tv and 800 euro for a soundbar, and my other (hisense tv 500euro) does it all better.
