Had this TV for 3 yrs. Came to turn it on last night to see a black vertical shadow. Google revealed I'm not the only person to have this issue on any Samsung TV and it seems quite common. I also understand its the Led's at fault. The cost for repair is totally uneconomical. I also have friends that say they have in the past had trouble with Samsung tv's being about as reliable as chocolate fireguard and will never buy another.
I dunno if anyone from Samsung will read this and hoestly dont care. I'd advise anyone thats interested in buying a Samsung TV to actually look elsewhere.
In this day and age TV tech is pretty solid and unless your a total geek that talks through their adanoids the average joe wont see any difference in mainstream TV picture quality. Moral of the story is samsung make good phones.... Not tvs
