Hi All
My 2014 39inch Smart TV with Freeview auto restarts when touching any button on the remote.
It seemed to start when the old BT Vision box seemed to be causing a loop in early July.
I got in long enough to turn off Eco and all timers (suggested on avforums.com)
At this time is said Software was up to date.
Everything is unplugged except the network cable and ariael. (No sat., sky, Now nothing)
Restarted power socket without batteries in remote
Restarted router
Factory Reset and software update installed - rescanned with Advanced Menu
(to get into Advanced Menu - turn tv off then press Info/Menu/Mute/Power. Reset in Options)
One final suggestion was to change the main board - hmmmmm
