Auto HDR remastering

Hi all , does anyone use this setting on their Samsung TV ? For me it just increases colour and brightness a bit ? May as well just increase the colour and brightness slider ?? Thoughts ??

I think the point is that the Auto HDR mastering should  enhance  the contrast,colour and Brightness of SDR  content.  This should result in richer and more detailed colours , however experiment to find the option which suits you best.  The overall impression may vary depending on content.

Thanks James , yeah it just seems to increase colour and brightness on Sky hd and sky SD channels, I've actually turned it off and increased the brightness and colour myself
