Hi guys,
We really like our new GQ65S95BAT, but the ambient mode is as it appears to us is useless.
Why so? Because after choosing a decor this is constantly changing every minute or so. How do we set this to be static? The TV is running on the latest update.
Would be great if you knew an answer.
Cheers

Please fix this Samsung. It makes ambient mode completely worthless if the chosen background keeps changing. We also need to have an option to make ambient mode the screen saver instead of that annoying 90s rainbow pattern.

So disappointing to upgrade my 2020 model which had a perfectly fine ambient mode and find this nonsense. This really needs to be fixed asap!! How can an upgrade be a downgrade 🙄 what a waste

Please fix it!

This is still a problem in 2024

I'd bet you have an OLED or QDOLED? It scrolls to prevent burn in folks. I get it. It sucks. I wish I could stay on one all the time too but especially with the decor effects, like Rotating tiles, those hold the same lines on your screen for hours at a time. That's precisely what causes burn in.

Answering once would have been sufficient. I get it you think burn in is the reason for the TV's behaviour.
Nevertheless, there are way to prevent this apart from the annoying rotation. Pixel shift, reduction of brightness or simply a clever screensaver design. At least give some reason for the rotation.
So my points stays valid, Samsung did a poor job in designing this.

Nope. Theyre saving themselves millions of complaints from people that don't understand or research things they spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on. Pixel refresh takes a long time. Just ask my QDOLED Alienware 34 inch.

And the multiple replies were to other people who were struggling with the same issue in an effort to help. If I inadvertently replied to you more than once it was a mistake.

Hi there,
I thank you for your information on why we are having this problem.
I do not understand why you needed to reply to every comment made, a simple post would have been sufficient, or maybe a link that explains this in further detail, so that we may do some research ourself.
burn in!
Being that you have an intricate knowledge on this issue, you wouldn’t have solutions to the problem?
thank you
