2017 UN55MU7000 - Missing App + App Question

Current Firmware 1262 - AMC app is not in the TV's app list however the AMC website shows they have an app for Samsung Smart TV's. I would really like to have/use this app. Can anyone confirm I should be seeing this in the TV's app list?

I am also wondering if there are plans for adding the MOTORTREND app?

Lastly, how does the TV update its list of apps? Are new apps added with firmware updates or some other way?
