I couldn't understand why the photos I was taking on my S23 Ultra were suddenly ″moving″ when I viewed them in Gallery. While this was amusing and disconcerting in equal measure, I just wanted static photos.
Was it something to do with OneUI7, I thought? After googling, I hold my hands up. I'd pressed the icon in top right that shows while Camera is open. (It even helpfully says ″Motion Picture On″ )
Mistakenly, I thought this option might help when taking pictures of fast moving objects.

Not personally, but as with everything, extra functionality is great and it's even better when Samsung give people the option of turning things on or off as they choose.
