This is just a heads up... If your on the beta GOOGLE PAY and anything else that requires the protect services WILL NOT WORK.

Beta ROMS are not whitelisted, and hense WILL NOT Work, this is NOT a bug. 

Samsung Pay usually works if required

This is actually spelled out in the notes Before you join the beta. 

Other apps that may not work include banking and financial apps.

Earlier, during the Beta Program, Google Pay app was not functional. However, this time it is possible that the situation will change - currently, some responsible people are trying to make it work also during the Beta.

In the meantime, I recommend you to use the Samsung Pay app 😉. Google Pay app will certainly be working in the official version of the software.

It would be most helpful if Samsung support knows this. Yesterday they did not know and I asked specifically if it is a known problem.
