This dropped into my email inbox from the Notes app team. Thought I'd share with you all. They've serialised it, so I'll do too. This is Part 1.

 

Hello, this is the Notes team.

We’re currently rolling out a phased update for Samsung Notes PC (v4.3.417.0). Here’s a summary of the major updates included in this release.

For New Samsung Notes PC Users


What is Samsung Notes PC?


It’s a dedicated note-taking app for Samsung PCs and Galaxy Book devices, allowing you to use Samsung Notes on your PC in a way that’s similar to the mobile app.
While the mobile and PC versions run on different platforms (Android vs Windows), you can sync your notes via Samsung Cloud.

We received a lot of questions about what’s coming in the update, so we've organized each feature into individual posts.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment—we’ll respond during the rollout period.

We didn’t plan it this way, but now that we’ve shared each post one by one… it turns out there are ten in total!
We hope the update rolls out quickly. Once the release begins, we’ll share the official schedule.

 

1. A Completely New Look

  • The toolbar has been redesigned from the ground up, and we’ve added a "Canvas Lock" feature.
    Please note: This feature is only available on touchscreen-enabled PCs.
  • The settings menu has also been revamped to better suit the PC environment while maintaining familiarity with the mobile version.
  • Be sure to try out the newly designed pens!
