Hi mine 

LS55CG970N Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen 55" Monitor Remote BN59-01427B is not responding anymore

I tried charging it ( solar power) and i am not notici g any progress. Red dot led is not blinking  once trying to rotate........

Is there any other way to charge it ? Is there a way to open it and replace the batery?

I find this  solar remote stupid invention. There is not so much sun shining here in Holland. 

Maybe i should move to arabic Emirates and try to charge it there insteed ? While spending mine time in Sahara desert?

Remote was working in the beginning just fine and after it decharged first time its Just not charging anymore.

Is there a way to open it and replace the batery?which would be the best option.

Zou je de Solar voor minimaal 12 uur aan de lader willen leggen? Hier gelijk de manual:

Odyssey Ark Dial Solar-Eco Remote cannot be charged using charger. Only solar.

Odyssey Ark Dial Solar-Eco Remote kan niet opgeladen worden via oplader. ( solar only)

Er is geen enkele ingang op deze afstandsbediening om aangesloten te kunnen worden via oplader. Maar solar.

En solar wordt i niet opgeladen.

Ik stuurde je de verkeerde manual 🙈. Sorry. Deze Solar kan weldegelijk opgeladen worden.
Links onderaan moet een USB-C poort zitten. Zie afbeelding. Bij de beschrijving staat ook:

"Battery: *Requires NO batteries = Charge by Solar Cell or USB cable*"

Is het inmiddels gelukt om de Solar op te laden?

Yes yesterday i started rotting  remote control (360) from all sides .

And i noticed there is usb-c port present( like on picture).

So i connected usb-c cable to usb-c port and remote control started charging itself.

That port is barely visible. I was sure it does not exsist.( i had no glasses on).

It's just a very small hole 😂. Charge it this way every now and then.
Sunlight is sometimes not enough.
