External Hard Disk is not detected by TV

Hi,

External WD brand Hard disk (500 GB) has not been detected by my TV. But normal pendrives get detected without issues. The file system or pendrive is FAT32 and hard disk has partitions with ExFAT file system. Please find the model details as given below.

Is the full Model Code of the TV UE55NU7100WXXN? See the sticker on the back of the TV.

Is the current sofwareversion of the TV the 1270.6? (In Dutch) bij Instellingen->Ondersteuning->Over deze tv.

What files are on the USB-HDD? .mkv, .avi, etc.? Maybe this is usefull for you:

So maybe try formatting to NTFS.

Thanks for your reply. It got resolved. It was not working because I was connecting the TV via an extension. May be extension incompatible
