I advise you to check if the Facebook application has an update. You can also reset this app from Settings - Apps - Facebook - Storage - Delete Data/Clear Cache.

If you can use emojis with other apps, it's possible the problem is with Facebook. I advise you to contact the developer of this application for more information on how it works.
