Why does my Samsung S8+ Tablet charge my drone controller when connected for file transfer

I regularly connect a drone controller to my Samsung S8+ to copy video files, why does my tablet start charging the drone controller even though the controller has a higher charge?

I don't want any charging to take place here.

How to stop my S8+ from charging any other devices?

On the dialer put in *#0808# then select mtp+adb click OK then reboot

Thanks but, I entered that code and it comes back call not sent and invalid MMI code.

I have recently been updated to Android 13.

Update, I did not get the * in there, but now the option you suggested is not on the list,

It shows,

RMNET +DM +MODEM + ADPL + QDSS

DM + MODEM

I can select one of these, what do you think?
