Hello

I have a S10 FE tablet, bought about 6 weeks ago. Turned it on, set it up, then didn't use it for about a month. When I went to login again, it refused my password - like, literally nothing happened. I tried to reboot and resorted to attempt a factory reset, but it just kept restarting. I couldn't access it via Google or my phone to unlock or reset. So, resorted to Samsung tech repair.

Well, long story short (because I have been spoken to several members of the chat, the service centre, made a complaint etc.,) - they want me to pay to unlock the screen because I have "forgotten" my password. I haven't forgotten my password - this is clearly a manufacturing fault. Service centre said Samsung can authorise SAW to bypass this but Samsung say no, because it's not out of date. Going round in circles, quite literally.

Advice needed please. Do I just suck up the extra cost? Do I ask for it to be returned and try to return at the point of sale (Argos)? I'm sick of dealing with them tbh.

Depends on which route you want to go with. If you can factory reset the tablet with all your data removed on it. Then you can just return it. Its worth bearing in mind. If you do plan on returning it. You must do it within the 30 days. If not you can exchange it not sure if this is guaranteed.
