I have received a complentary uber eats voucher email for a recent purchase. Thanks samsung. But don't seem to be able to redeem it. Link is on the uber eats app now, under vouchers but says unavailable? Any ideas how this becomes available. TIA

the impression I'm getting  from uber eats is that, you have to let  your CC or debit card get charged, then they refund u within 5 days , using the voucher as final payment. the charge to CC is temp authorization

still trying to get clarification on this.....don't want to spend more time, trying to dispute CC charge, if no refund is given😫

You will be charge an authorization hold when you place orders using a voucher.
 
Authorization holds are small amounts of money that aren't charged to your account. They are temporary on your account for the upfront pricing of the order on your payment method. As the order completes, the hold is converted to a charge for the final order price.
 
Once the request has been charged to the voucher, the voided amount will be back in your account within 5 business days.

this seems to be the definitive answer - let  uber eats charge your credit card then they refund you via the voucher with in 5 days

Answering your doubts regarding the voucher issue, the credit card yes the secondary payment method, will be charged, however once the voucher is applied at the end of the order, the charge that was made on your secondary payment method will be refunded after 5 business days

It had been a month since I brought my Samsung galaxy tab s8, and was promised an UBER eats voucher but none received till date after repeated calls to support team.

Finally a reply... but nit very helpful after all this time I need to take up.with uber eats.
Samsung response
"As per our team that you need to contact Uber Eats about the payment method that it was link to your account."
Bit of a run around now. Guess this voucher won't get used now. Seems a waste of time samsung sending it out.

Samsung customer service all load of rubbish.  Regarding the Uber eats voucher they have not go a clue, very unprofessional, unreliable the customer service advisor. They tell you to go from one department to another, then another "like the chuckle brothers"

One advisor told me to contact Uber eats, I told Samsung I purchased the phone off you not Uber, she / he hung up the phone, not for the first time.

I spoke to Michael on live chat he was very apologetic, he tried his best but was not able to help me.

So all I can say is as it's a breach on contract we should return the phones back to Samsung and see if they do anything about it(sounds petty) but if the shoes where on the other end they would want full payment.

Well I have managed to eventually use my voucher. Think by luck more than anything
All I can share is u need a payment method set at your card and need the full funds on the card.
My order was over 25.00 at thr bottom of the order I had a voucher section clicked on that then voucher come off total with a balance to be paid that had to go against my card. Took ages to work out.

I've had the exact same issue as kam G where i place the order, it shows the voucher has taken the money off and total £0, but then get that message that my payment was declined as there wasn't enough money in the account.

Please can you advise on this soon as my voucher expires end Jan, many thanks.

My messaged of being declined was my card wasn't verified in app. I had enough unds in bank to cover even without voucher
