Task Bar

Hi, Ive just bought the new Tab S12 Plus, I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the Task Bar to show at the bottom of the screen all the time. Ive done the usual Disply > Task bar setting so that it show when I'm in an app etc but my old Tab S9 Plus showed the Task Bar continuously. Any ideas please Cheers

Yeah I've tried all that is available within the task bar settings but on my home screen with no apps open I still have to pull up from the bottom to get it to show.

So this is my s12+ home screen.

I dont remember doing anything specific, but my task bar on the home screen is always present.

It might be from an earlier customisation that I did with the 'Goodlock' suite and specifically the 'home up' plug in.

Have you checked this software ? Installable from galaxy store.

Hi thanks, yeah I've got the full Goodlock set. I will give it a try and see if there's something in there that I've either set or needs setting. Cheers

Did you consider restarting your tablet? On the settings for Homescreen on my Tab S9+ any settings you use the task bar cannot be removed. Additionally you can go into the Home Screen settings and toggle "Lock Home Screen Layout" to "prevent items on the Home Screen from being removed or repositioned.

Possibly the task bar is still there but you removed it's items accidentally but you can put them back by dragging the apps you want to the bottom of the screen in Home Screen.

There's no room at the bottom of the main home screen. The Google search bar and Find are right at the bottom. I have to drag up to show the actual task bar. It's crazy ugh. But I'll change my gestures and create space and see if I can add app icons. Cheers

Yes mine is the same as I set up from my zfold8 ultra and it's always there

Just a note, I have the Tab S9 plus which my wife is now using and it has the task bar fixed with no issue. I used the S9 to transfer all my data when I set up the S12 but it's still got this, what shall I call it, a feature or an issue ha cheers

Can you drag the Google search bar to the top of the screen? The space to drag apps for the task bar is "invisible", if you remove all the apps from there, it will not show as something is missing. Can you post any pictures?
