Hi.

The tablet is about 1 month old and the S pen worked before.

I can charge the pen and it shows up on the screen that it's charging and it says disconnected when removed (I don't knkw if it means disconnected from charging or from the wireless connection). I can press the button on the pen and it will launch the camera so it should be connected...

Using it on the screen won't work and the pointer don't show when hovering over the screen. When I try air gestures I get a popup saying "This screen don't support this action".

Anyone know a sloution for this? I have tried rebooting the tablet, reconnect the S pen and removing the cover from the tablet. I'm also on the latest update.

I don't remember if I used the pen after installing the latest update so I don't know if that messed it up.

Hi,
If your Samsung S Pen isn't working, the most likely causes are: a faulty S Pen tip, a dirty screen or screen protector, a case or screen protector interfering with the S Pen, incorrect S Pen settings, or a software issue on your device; you can try cleaning the S Pen tip, removing your case or screen protector, checking your S Pen settings, restarting your device, and updating your software to troubleshoot the problem.

Here are a few steps you can take to fix a non-functioning S Pen:

Check the S Pen tip: Ensure the S Pen tip is clean and not damaged. If it's dirty, gently clean it with a soft cloth.

Clean the screen: Wipe down your device's screen with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or debris that might interfere with the S Pen.

Remove case or screen protector: Some cases or screen protectors can block the S Pen signal; try removing them temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

Check S Pen settings: Go to your device's settings, navigate to "Advanced Features" > "S Pen" and ensure all settings are correct.

Restart your device: Sometimes a simple restart can fix connectivity issues.

Update software: Make sure your device has the latest software updates installed.

Reset S Pen: Some Samsung devices allow you to reset the S Pen through the settings menu.

If none of these steps work, you might need to:

Contact Samsung Support: They can help diagnose the problem further and advise on next steps, including potential repairs or replacements.

Check for physical damage: Inspect the S Pen for any visible damage like cracks or bent parts.

Consider a new S Pen: If the issue is with the S Pen itself, you may need to purchase a replacement

Hello and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

It might be worth a force reboot @Members_ao7ux30

And Clear the cache section of the Tablet too.

Ultimately a back up and factory reset maybe the way to go.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It worked fine befor with the screen protector so it sounds wierd that it would stop working with it. But now I'm one screen protector poorer and the pen still don't work... :smiling-face:

Tried all the above and it still wont work. 😕

Went to a store nearby that had a S24 Ultra Pen and that worked on my tablet and after that my pen started to work but when I got home again it registered one touch with the pen and stopped working again after that. I guess my pen is broken but it is wierd that it started to work again right after I used the pen from the S24 Ultra.
