Tab S8 Ultra 6.1 Circle to Search error

I've just got the 6.1 update but can't get "circle to search" to work at all whilst in Dex mode. Anyone else having similar issues.?

Nope, I just tried it out now and it works in DeX mode for me, however it opens up a new window for the search

It took a little bit the first time, but after that it's working as expected.

I've checked and rechecked; when in Dex mode, a new pop-up is opened when you initiate circle to search, and the search result is not that which is circled but, instead, a composite of the original window. It's not even close to being acceptable. When not in Dex, it works fine.

It's garbage on my partner's Tab S9 Ultra in Dex mode too.

The results in Dex mode are absolute garbage; I think some folk are just seeing a result and declaring job done.? The search results do not relate to the circled area at all. Unusable as is.

Was this resolved? I can't get mine to work using classic dex. It does not appear at all when holding the home button.
