Hi,

My tablet S8 keeps disconnecting from WiFi even though my WiFi is fine.

Thank you.

What makes you 100% certain it isn't an issue with your WiFi?

I would reset network settings and see if that improves things.

You could try an "in sequence ",reboot of your network.
Step 1. Turn off all devices on your home network, every single one of them.
Step 2,turn of your router and unplug from wall for 2 minutes.
Step 3,turn on each device 2 minutes after each other.

This should solve the problem.

This can happen when you have an "IP CONFIG FAILURE. Basically your router gets confused allocating IP addresses to devices that constantly
Connect then disconnect from the network which your phone does every time you leave the house.

Hope this helps.

I have this same problem too with my Tab S8, and I'm sure it's not my wifi network as this is the only device connected to it that has this problem. My S21 is perfect all the time, my TVs, my family members phones, computers everything works perfectly as it should but only my S8 Tablet will randomly disconnect or say I'm connected with no internet and I have to turn the wifi off and on again to get it work again. It only seems like it recently started doing this too, when i first got it, it was perfectly fine and never had this issue but the last month or so it's been non-stop which is very frustrating when trying to watch something and it stops or download a game update and keeps disconnecting which seeing when this post was made kinda matches up with timing for both of us having this issue.

Me too started about 6 moths ago , will try sequence shut down and see if that helps , although I suspect it might be software update related

I'm also having this issue with my tab S8. It's not my network, none of my other devices are having problems staying connected. And I also just went through doing a check up on my connection, which included a physical reboot of my router.

It's only my tablet that is dropping the Wi-Fi.  I feel strongly that it's a glitch that arose following the previous software update installation, because this started happening right after that update.

I did that, too. It's seriously messed up. And when I called Samsung about it, I was told my tablet does not have an IMEI, which is what my ISP would need to send me an eSIM for it, so that it would stay registered on my network. And when I said that I wanted to buy an S9+ Galaxy tab, they said I could only do so from them if I choose one of the 3 companies they have decided to offer on their website, at&t, Verizon, or US cellular. The SUPER messed up thing is that before I sent my tablet in to be repaired, I very clearly remember there being an IMEI on the about tablet screen. It came back from them working fine, but ever since the last update for my tablet (which is an S8+), it won't stay connected to my network. Pages on the Internet crash, I get booted from multi player games, and any game that connects to the Internet, it won't stay connected.

It's pretty much a paper weight now. And I'm not going to switch my service provider, or open an account with a different provider. Why should I?

Hi, been having the same scenario since I bought the device. It's been for repair (no issue found). I can have my s23 next to the tab s8 and that's fine.
It not router as the same with others all other wifi connected devices work fine.
This is still an issue after the latest software update.

Very disappointing
