I don't know if this is something I did, or something Sammy did, but twice now I fell asleep watching a movie, and twice now I woke up to a dead battery. This, where it was very reliable at shutting down at 20%. Until I get that figured out, I thought I whip up a Routine to shut it down.
Nothing is as easy as it seems.
I'm aware of this setting: Go in to: Device Care>Auto optimisation >Auto restart and you can set a schedule in there.
There is also:Accessibility>Turn off after restart>Vision enhancements>Extra dim> Turn off after restart
I have no idea what the relationships are between how these are burried in the menu structure. But it doesn't matter as it also doesn't work for me. 😖
But so far, it's ignoring the time I set there just to test the function. 🤔
Preferably, I'd like to understand and fix whatever is causing it to drain to zero. That's the most anomalous of the two non-functions and almost certainly not good for the battery.
Any suggestions?
