Tab S7 plus sd storage

My Galaxy tab s7 plus recognises the fact that an SD card is inserted, but even if I tell an app to download to SD (eg Amazon Music) it just downloads to internal storage.

I have tried this with 2 separate SD cards, both of which have been formatted. 

Any thoughts or suggestions?

You cannot change the download location to SD card nor can you move apps there, either.

from what I can gather during a brief Google search it looks like you have to manually move the music after downloading it, to your sd card.

I'm afraid I can't find other solution so I hope there's another person who can provide something more useful, until then though, that's all I could find.

it does say you can download it TO the SD card but not HOW. I assume this is the way they mean but as mentioned I could be wrong and hopefully someone else has a better answer for you
