Have any other Tab S7 FE owners had a problem with their screen just locking randomly?
I work in O2 and have sold 3 Tab S7 FEs, one of which I bought for my partner. 2 of my customers returned them for a refund as this screen locking problem was happening on their tables along with huge battery drainage. My partners also had this problem and have since returned hers for a replacement which we haven't received yet to see if the issue persists.

@Kodiguru: For clarity, is the screen freezing, or is it going idle, requiring you to unlock it? If it's the latter, you can adjust your Screen Timeout time via Settings > Display > Screen Timeout. Regarding your battery issues, please head to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery, and tap on the graph to show a breakdown of which apps and services are using the most battery. Do any stand out as being abnormally high?

Hi Andrew,
I work in O2 as the tech Guru and I'm a Samsung Elite so know my way around a Samsung device fairly well so it's definitely the screen actually locking up and not timing out. I ran the diagnostic tool on my partners device along with calling up Samsung and the Samsung Star remotely logged in and could see the screen locking. None of the tests showed anything abnormal.
With my two customers devices one of them refused to actually turn on altogether, I left it charging for 20 mins and also tried to force restart it but with no joy. I even hooked it up to my laptop via thunderbolt connection and still couldn't get the tablet to turn on/restart/force reset.
The other customer had only had it for 2 days and his was having the same locking problem and he said about poor battery. Again I ran the diagnostic test and also used my Guru laptop with the MCE tool to run a diagnostic which again showed nothing abnormal. He had only installed FB and a couple of messaging apps he used for messaging family overseas so nothing battery intensive. While I had it for the 40 minutes Instore it actually lost 35% battery which is crazy considering the battery size.
I have the Tab S7+ and it's a beast of a tablet so was really surprised when the only 3 Tab S7 FE I have personally had contact with all had similar problems resulting in them all being returned.

Because of the same problem (without touching the screen apps opening randomly) with the screen of Samsung, I gave it back to the seller. I hope I can take my money back without any problem.
