Hallo,
TIA, tg

Hello from California,
I have connected thru bluetooth to Sony model mh-h800 bluetooth headphones using the
sony Music Center app and the sony headphone app with LDAC codec from the samsung model S5e. The headphone app displays LDAC ( LDAC display is located immediately above the bluetooth symbol in the sony headphone app) . The S5e also displays LDAC in the samsung smart things app.
Also , have connected thru bluetooth to 2 sony wireless speakers model xb60 with LDAC
From the samsung model S5e. As the sony speaker does not have a separate app like the sony headphone app does, there is no no indication in the sony music center app that bluetooth LDAC is operating , other than the app settings that has an option for the bluetooth codec of SBC or LDAC. Selected the LDAC codec. The app also allows when selecting LDAC the bit rate for the LDAC. I selected the high rate. The will display a message that if there is noticable bluetooth drop outside in the high bit rate that the low bit should be selected to allow interrupted bluetooth connection. I have found that the high bit rate never causes loss of bluetooth connection or interruptions having used the speakers and headphone for 2 years.
I had to engage the android developer mode and manually select LDAC , but the bit rate was set correct. I tested the system 45 minutes and had no malfunctions.
I am unwilling to test the aptX HD as neither the sony headphones or wireless speakers have aptX HD . I do have a pair of lg wireless that have aptX HD but it is difficult to access the rear of the speakers to switch from the line in to bluetooth..
I hope this helps.
